Senior Consultant (Oracle Applications)

Main Duties: 

  • Conduct application design and architecture components by gathering and documenting business requirements and provide software solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Conduct meetings with Business Managers and Users to identify issues in current business process.
  • Coordinate and work with Business Users, Development, Database and Testing teams in project execution and go-live activities.
  • Coordinate with Client and Implementation teams to implement approved business processes.
  • Create functional requirements as an input to application design.
  • Demonstrate industry specific standard solutions and recommend Oracle products that suit business needs.
  • Design and implement solutions using Oracle Applications and Endeca for EBS to overcome current issues, improve operational efficiency, and achieve industry standards and to sustain growth.
  • Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components.
  • Drive test planning and execution: test and confirm standard and custom developed solutions meet business requirements, including integration to any other software used by the clients’ business.
  • Plan and execute data conversion activities.
  • Provide the configurations of the Oracle Applications necessary to enable the business to use the software, including deployment and maintenance of both custom and standard application components.
  • Provide training to Business Users in newly designed processes and coordinate testing new processes.
  • Train users and transfer knowledge to users to ensure full understanding and ongoing use of the applications beyond the project.

Knowledge and skills applied:

  • Project Management.
  • Sales Planning / Trade Promotion Management.
  • Full life cycle implementations using Oracle EBusiness Suite tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL SQL, and Workflow.
  • Water Fall / AIM /Agile project methodologies.
  • Leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Relations Management.
  • Ability to work easily in a team, cross functionally, and with external vendors (off shore or onsite)
 
Master degree in Business Administration/MIS/CIS.
